Dell perc 6e driver

 · My Dell PowerEdge R has both the PERC 6/i and PERC 6/E installed. Both with active RAID arrays. [Perc6/E].  · My question is is do I need to do any kind of hard drive firmware updates that i see on the download page for the perc firmware or can I just run the update through windows and it should do what its "supposed" to do? All drives, both in the server and in the MD are showing as optimal, all of which are Dell OEM drives for these systems.
