I don't think you'll have too much trouble finding work, there's still a shortage of HGV drivers. A mate of mine went through to HGV1 and although he originally managed to find work driving artics. Up to 4, people will soon be able to take advantage of training courses to become HGV drivers, as part of a package of measures announced today (25 September ) by the government to ease. The HGV world is odd in that drivers with no experience are few and far between. Companies like experience not just of roads and bridges and driving, but rules and regulations too.
